Factors Academic Press

Factors Academic Press establishes a unified framework of editorial principles across all its journals, including Science Factors. These policies are organized into three core areas: General Policies, Research Standards, and Publication Policies.

I. General Policies

These policies define the foundational principles of integrity, transparency, and responsibility that apply across all journals.

Integrity and Transparency

All content published under Factors Academic Press must adhere to principles of honesty, transparency, and accountability. The publisher does not tolerate unethical research or publishing behavior in any form.

Conflicts of Interest

All contributors—including authors, reviewers, and editors—must disclose any relationships or interests that could influence the evaluation or interpretation of research.

Ethical Oversight

The publisher expects all research to comply with relevant ethical frameworks and institutional requirements. Ethical responsibility remains with the authors.

II. Research Standards

These standards govern how research must be conducted, reported, and presented.

Originality and Scientific Validity

Submissions must represent original work based on sound methodology and valid scientific reasoning. Plagiarism, fabrication, or manipulation of data is strictly prohibited.

Research Ethics Compliance

Studies involving humans, animals, or sensitive materials must follow appropriate ethical approvals and guidelines.

Data Accuracy and Reproducibility

Research must be reported in sufficient detail to allow evaluation and, where applicable, replication. Data must not be selectively presented or altered in misleading ways.
